Exam process

All students will need to register an invigilator for their exams. An invigilator can be anyone that is not a family member or close friend. The duty of the invigilator is to invigilator all exams for the student on behalf of Imperium University. The invigilator will ensure that exam procedure are followed at all times. In the case of unethical behavior both the student and the invigilator will be held accountable. Please note that if found guilty of any unethical behavior, both the student and the invigilator will not be allowed to study at any educational institution for a minimum of 5 years. In order for the invigilator to be registered on the students’ profile, they first need to complete the invigilation course and obtain an invigilation number. Without the necessary registration, the invigilator will not be allowed to act as an invigilator for any student.

How to register as an invigilator?

Anyone that wishes to register as an invigilator can log on to the Imperium University website and search for the course Invigilation certificate. This link can be found under any of the faculties.
Invigilator can then register for the course by completing the invigilators application form. Please note that this application will have no cost involved.
After completion of the application, the invigilator will receive an email and invigilator number that they can use to log into the training course.

Invigilation staff may not use the personal data or other information about a student obtained through their role as an invigilator for any purpose other than that of Invigilation there relevant Invigilation slot.

Exam timetables are released by the se on week of each semester. Please ensure you have the dates and times correct as the papers are only available to download and upload during the specified times. For the day of the exam please ensure that you have a good Internet connection and a working printer and scanner. Check that everything is in working order the day before.
The time indicated on the exam timetable is the official starting time. Papers should be downloaded and printed by then. Links will open between 10-30 minutes before the official starting time of the exam and upload links will close 30 minutes after the official closing time of the exam. Any papers not uploaded by this time will be treated as absent and students will have to submit an official doctor’s note in order to be considered for the sick exam.
Students with disabilities that require special exam conditions need to follow the correct procedure to apply for extra time, enlarged scripts etc. These applications will only be accepted if accompanied by supporting documentation. Only once approved will special consideration apply to the student.
